Digital Art Gallery

When it comes to digital art, I like to use Procreate (if I'm drawing on a tablet) or Affinity Designer if I'm drawing using my computer and a drawing tablet. GIMP is another wonderful (and free as in freedom) option if you prefer using open source software.

The folks over at Retrosupply sell wonderful brush plugins for both Affinity and Procreate if you want to expand your toolset without breaking the bank. I've personally purchased several of their brush sets and have been incredibly happy with them. If you are looking for something even cheaper I can also recommend Librium's collection of free plugins.

Traditional Art Gallery

I like to make traditional artwork using all sorts of mediums. If I'm drawing, I actually prefer using Sharpies because they are cheap and super dark. If I'm painting, I prefer using oil paints because they dry so slowly. It's nice to be able to take my time on them without worrying about the paint drying quickly like acrylics or water colors. That being said, I also enjoy playing around with water colors because they are so easy to take with you.
