A Fresh Start I’ve decided to wipe the slate clean and start this blog over from scratch. There wasn’t a huge archive to begin with, but even so, it felt like the right time for a reset. I want to change how this space works, how I approach it, and what I use it for in the hopes that it’ll be more enjoyable (and sustainable) this time around. Keeping up with a blog has been one of those long-standing personal goals that I’ve never quite managed to follow through on. I’ve made a few attempts over the years, and for one reason or another, they always fizzled out. Life gets busy, I second-guess what I’m writing, or I just psych myself out entirely. Still, the urge to write and share sticks with me, so here I am again. Maybe this will be the version that actually sticks, however slow or sporadic the updates may be. One thing I’ve learned: setting strict expectations or ambitious plans from the start usually backfires. It turns something that should be a creative outlet into a source of pressure. I end up worrying about what I should be writing instead of just writing anything at all. It’s a bit like having a 2pm appointment and suddenly the entire day feels unusable because you’re mentally anchored to that one obligation. Maybe that’s just me but it’s a pattern I’m trying to break. So, no promises here. No set posting schedule or grand vision. Just a space that I hope to grow into naturally, without overthinking it.
